The children in this program use the land of the letter people, a pre- reading program that introduces phonetic letter sounds through characters such as " Mr. Tall Teeth " and " Mr Munchy Mouth ". Pre- reading skills are also enhanced through appropriate learning and art center activities. Math skills are developed through Montessori materials, work books and teacher - made games. Creative activities are also stressed as we prepare the children both academically and emotionally for kindergarten . Computer labs continue to build technology education.
